SENTENCED: Photos From Final Gig Available Online

Finland's Mesta.net has uploaded several pictures from SENTENCED's farewell gig, which took place on Saturday, October 1 at Club Teatria in Oulu, Finland. Check them out at this location. The very last show was filmed and recorded and will be released in early 2006 as a live DVD (tentatively titled "Buried Alive"). A Finnish-language report on the gig can be found at this location.

SENTENCED's final CD, "The Funeral Album", reached position No. 1 on the official Finnish chart, No. 49 on the German chart and No. 59 on the Austrian chart upon its release in late May.

The follow-up to 2002's "The Cold White Light", "The Funeral Album" was recorded primarily at Finnvox and Tonebox studios (both in Finland),and mixed and mastered at Finnvox. Producing the effort was Hiili Hiilesmaa, who also worked with the group on their last two albums, 2000's "Crimson" and "The Cold White Light".
